The Opportunity  –  Project Coordinator & Estimator

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a keen appetite to grow their career in the building industry. As a key member of Winton’s Coordination and Estimation team, the Project Coordinator & Estimator acts as the key contact for residential customers, contractors and agents for all project related inquiries, including quality assurance and assistance with product reference materials.  Performing services at a level consistent with our reputation and expectations, the Project Coordinator & Estimator ensures timely information is provided to various departments, provides accurate estimates to the sales team and coordinates all post-contract sales activity.  Attention to cost and shipping targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and building positive relationships with internal and external customers are all key focus areas of this dynamic position.

Your Background

As the successful candidate, you have two (2) or more years’ construction experience involving project coordination and estimation and/or experience in industrial or commercial construction project management.  You are well versed in residential home construction, custom manufacturing processes, construction industry standards, materials and operations including construction specifications and standards, building materials and installation procedures.  Previous exposure to our Winton Homes product design and residential home construction process would be an asset.  A diploma or certificate in estimation or construction project management would also be considered an asset as would familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, CostX or Mitek software.  Along with excellent communication and customer service skills you enjoy applying common sense to problem solving and thrive on prioritizing a demanding schedule.
