A step in the right direction!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Supervisor at Nechako Lumber in Vanderhoof, BC!

About Us

Sinclar Group Forest Products Ltd. is an integrated wood products manufacturing company with operations throughout north-central British Columbia. Since 1962 the dedicated team at Sinclar Group has been building strong and stable businesses by encouraging leadership and innovation in our workforce, upholding the family values that framed our beginnings, and respecting the needs of the communities in which we all live and work.

Nechako Lumber Co. Ltd., a company of Sinclar Group Forest Products, has developed a global reputation for producing premium quality stud lumber. When you see the distinctive Nechako “green,” you know you’re working with the best.

Nechako began production in 1969, purchasing rough lumber from bush mills located around the Vanderhoof area. With the addition in 1973 of the L&M Lumber sawmill, the site focused its supply chain on the abundance of small-profile timber that was available because of large-scale clearing of agricultural land in the Vanderhoof area. The sawmill has maintained its dominance in small-diameter timber processing, utilizing a product that was previously piled and burned, creating value and reducing waste. In 2017, L&M Lumber was merged into Nechako Lumber Co. Ltd.

In addition to the lumber manufacturing operations, Nechako Lumber Co. Ltd. operates Premium Pellet Ltd., which turns sawdust and planer shavings into wood pellets for domestic heating and power production.

While our focus is on meeting the needs of our customers, our success is driven by our people.
