The Opportunity – Quality Assurance Supervisor

Reporting to the Process Control Superintendent and as a member of the Apollo Management Team, the Quality Assurance Supervisor ensures optimum production of lumber and chips in accordance with company specifications for recovering high-quality products in finished lumber. This role champions and leads a safety-first work culture and fosters a respectful workplace environment that engages people in the pursuit of organizational goals and also holds them accountable.

Qualifications:

• Facilitates and promotes a safe and positive working environment, ensuring the highest level of safety.
• Optimizes production and maintenance performance to improve operational efficiency.
• Provides leadership, training and support for operating and maintenance personnel.
• Participates in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to plant operation.
• Provides leadership in the development and implementation of maintenance programs.
• Participates in capital planning and the implementation of those plans.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Positive interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High energy and initiative

The salary range for this position is $92,841 to 116,051
