Sinclar is a significant contributor across a wide range of family, youth and senior initiatives in our communities. We feel privileged to have the opportunity to contribute to the health and vibrancy of the place we call home.

Community Initiatives

Sinclar booth outside at YMCA kids day — Sinclar sponsors a wide range of local community events including the YMCA Healthy Kids Day

Trees covered in snow on a mountain — Ski programs on our local mountains, like Murray Ridge in Fort St. James, are supported by Sinclar

VCC16 — Sinclar provided a donation to the Vanderhoof Cultural Centre which opened on June 30th, 2022.

The Apollo Forest Products sawmill has been a major contributor to the economic success of our community and Sinclar and the [owning] families have been and continue to be strong supporters of Fort St James and our local First Nation communities.

As a family owned business in our community, Sinclar has long been a great corporate citizen, supportive of local organizations and programs, and dedicated to environmental sustainability. The partnership between Sinclar and the City of Prince George on our Downtown District Energy System is one example of how Sinclar has contributed positively to wellbeing and sustainability in our city.

Scholarship Program

Sinclar offers scholarships and bursaries for post secondary and high school students in Prince George, Fort St. James, and Vanderhoof.
