March 4, 2019 – The Wood Innovation Research Lab at UNBC won the Environmental Performance Award at WoodWORKS! BC Wood Design Awards. Although not mentioned by name, Winton Homes’ innovative contribution to the building’s walls have helped the research lab to achieve the highest passive standard in North America, to date.
